SAIGON SAMPLER

Day 1 - Transfer from the airport to your hotel in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City).

Day 2 - Today's full day tour includes an excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels and a Saigon city tour with the Presidential Palace and the History Museum. (B, L)

Day 3 - Today's full day excursion takes you to the Mekong Delta. A boat trip on the Delta is included. (B, L)

Day 4 - Transfer to the Saigon airport. (B)

HANOI SAMPLER

Day 1 - Transfer from the airport to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2 - Today's full day city tour of Hanoi, known as the "Paris of the Orient," includes Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, cottage and museum, a walking tour of the Ancient Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Temple of Literature and a Vietnamese lunch. (B, L)

Day 3 - Today's half-day tour visits Thay and Tay Phuong Pagodas. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening attend a performance of the Water Puppets, complete with dinner and a cyclo ride. (B, D)

Day 4 - Transfer to the airport. (B)

Day 15 - This morning travel overland to Halong Bay where you'll board your private junk boat for a cruise to Cat Ba Island. Overnight on board your boat. (B, L, D)

Day 16 - Explore Cat Ba Island including the National Park and town. Afternoon hydrofoil to Haiphong. One night accommodation. (B, L)

Day 17 - Morning tour of Haiphong. Return to Hanoi and transfer to the train station. Overnight *Victoria Express to Lao Cai. (First class shared cabin on train is included. A deluxe twin cabin is available for an additional fee.) (B, D)

Day 18 - You'll arrive early at Lao Cai station. From there you'll transfer to Sapa. Upon arrival in Sapa you'll explore the market and will then trek to Cat Cat and Ham Rong. One night at Victoria Hotel in Sapa. (B, L)

Day 19 - Your full day trek will take you to the villages of Ta Phin (picnic lunch). You'll return to Lao Cai railway station in time to catch the overnight *Victoria Express to Hanoi.
